In the extraordinary times we are now living through, it’s almost normal to feel stressed. The Covid-19 lockdown brings an enormous amount of stress to people. Many suffer from isolation and face minimal social contact. There is also the severe disruption of daily routines and a general feeling of being locked up at home all the time.
Tight shoulders and neck, back pain, headaches and migraines, insomnia and digestive problems can all occur when we feel stressed out. On the emotional side, anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, as well as overly aggressive and explosive behaviour, is a way for the body system to signal nervous system overcharge.
